Meet Patrick – Tall, Dark, Handsome… and Ready for His Person
Patrick is a striking gelding with good looks, brains, and a heart of gold. He’s looking for that one special adopter to become his steady partner for the journey ahead.
On the ground, Patrick is easy to handle and leads politely with a standard halter and lead rope. He stands quietly in his stall or in cross-ties for grooming, tacking, and even warm bubble baths — always happy to soak up the attention.
In terms of care, Patrick is a low-maintenance guy. He wears basic front shoes, stands well for both the vet and farrier, and stays in good condition on our regular grain ration.
Under saddle, Patrick is still green but shows real potential. He has three balanced gaits, a willing attitude, and a growing love for trail rides. He tries hard and wants to please, making him a fun and rewarding project for the right adopter.
Patrick is currently turned out overnight with a group of geldings and thrives with the companionship of his herd. He shows a low to mid-level dominance in turnout and enjoys the structure of a social environment. Emotionally, he’s incredibly intelligent and forms strong bonds — he does best when he can look to his person for calm leadership and confidence.
Physically, Patrick is sound and ready to begin his next adventure. With a patient, confident partner, he could flourish in trail riding, dressage, or natural horsemanship disciplines. As always, medical records are available to interested and approved adopters.
